it took me a long time to think how i was going to begin this post. so i thought i would just give you my typical stream of conscious that so many of my friends are privy to on a daily basis whether they like it or not. i am, if anything, random.
so here it is.
TADA! my personal photojournal has moved. and i have chosen to allow it to evolve, let it out of the box so to speak. it was fighting pretty hard against my natural tendencies to have lists and order to things. here there will be no order, no lists, just pure unadulterated random chaos. i loves it. and, oh yeah, did i mention it is my attempt to put nothing but 35mm, disposable camera images, and iPhone images on here (i know whatever happened to random chaos, here i go planning again–give me a break, i have to have SOME control.)
that is my backyard. well sorta, it’s not really MY backyard, except for the past 6 months or so. i love it back there. it’s like a newborn baby. despite the extremely hay-like grass this time of year, it’s fresh, it’s clean, its pure. there is nothing there. there is something joyful about sterile suburbia. it’s like having a blank canvas just given to you. not the flat kind you get in the Wally World “art” department, but the big beautiful stretched kind. and someone just gives them to you. my backyard is like that. especially when there is snow. it looks clean, it looks pure. i could lay in that snow for hours. i could just lay there and get colder and colder, and someone could just come along and lay a blanket on me, because i would never want to leave.
